Seminar Objectives

The context for building maintenance services continues to develop at a rapid pace. The range of topics which impact on local authority services is vast whilst the need for managers to keep abreast of developments in order to provide a tenant centred service remains key.
This seminar will look at a number of these key themes whilst balancing strategic and operational topics. There will be presentations outlining established models for the building maintenance service that benefit the local population, Health and Safety issues and a legal perspective on effective procurement.
Operational matters and innovation will be covered with case studies from local authority experts.
The speakers have a wealth of experience and expertise of service delivery, innovation and evolving the service in these challenging times.

The 2018 Apprentice of the Year awards will also be held at this event.

Thursday 4 October = Single £85 (subsidised by APSE for full delegates only) Accommodation is also available on Wednesday 3 October at £85 B&B for a single room.
All accommodation costs will be invoiced in advance of the event. Any personal charges should be paid on departure.

Please note that all hotel bookings at this event must be reserved via APSE as the hotel will not accept any direct bookings at the above special rate. 

 

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: Reservation is a contract. Substitution of delegates is acceptable any time in writing by post, email to CPetersenSnell@apse.org.uk or fax to 0161 772 1811. Cancellations must be made in writing at least 10 working days before the event, and will incur a 20% administration fee. No refunds can be given for cancellations received less than 10 working days before the event or for non-attendance. In the unlikely event of cancellation by the organisers, liability will be restricted to the refund of fees paid. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the programme, speakers or venue should this become necessary.
