Interim Management

APSE provides consultants as interim managers to assist authorities for a wide variety of reasons.

APSE interim managers are experts within their field and often over qualified; as a result they will be able to take control immediately. An interim manager will become embedded within the Council, working a part of the management team for a determined period of time, usually between three and 12 months. They can provide a fresh perspective, implementing strategies onsite and mentoring existing staff.

You can be assured that an APSE interim manager will be a safe pair of hands who will take control of a difficult situation.

APSE (Association for Public Service Excellence) is a not for profit unincorporated association working with over 300 councils throughout the UK. Promoting excellence in public services, APSE is the foremost specialist in local authority frontline services, hosting a network for frontline service providers in areas such as waste and refuse collection, parks and environmental services, cemeteries and crematorium, environmental health, leisure, school meals, cleaning, housing and building maintenance.
