14:00 - Site visit: Eastcroft Depot

Delegates will have the opportunity to:

  • Tour the FCC Energy from Waste incinerator, which provides heat to 5,000 homes as well as numerous public and private sector buildings across Nottingham.
  • Or explore the Eastcroft depot and learn about the Council’s decarbonisation initiatives, including electric refuse lorries, street sweepers, gritters, EV van charging infrastructure, and a battery-to-grid pilot integrated with solar PV.
