How does virtual coaching work?
Now online, APSE training is offering a half-day refresher course to help delegates identify their skills and areas for improvement in the coaching environment. The course will also look at how councils need to adapt in the current climate to give support in this area, even when working remotely.
Learning Outcomes:
During this training you will:
- Understand how a local authority benefits from utilising a coaching process
- Develop your ability to create a coaching environment in your service sector
- Gain awareness and knowledge of the principles of coaching and mentoring
- Appreciate the role of a coach and mentor
- Increase your knowledge of the coaching process

- Learn how to adapt to the challenges of coaching in a virtual environment
This course will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams. To access it, you will need a WiFi connection or mobile data hotspot. Downloading Microsoft Teams to your laptop, desktop or smart device will give a better performance and greater functionality throughout the day. This highly interactive training includes a mixture of presentations, video conferencing, group work, games, quizzes and video.
