This member authority would like to know what other local
authorities done in terms of feeding babies between zero and 1 year
old at nursery? Including providing anything in terms of modified
diets, formula milk or food that is puree'd etc.
Any examples of menus for 0-1 year olds or other relevant
documents (staffing levels/hours etc) that could be shared would be
greatly appreciated.

This local authority would like to hear from colleagues in relation to
whether VAT is charged on staff school meals, specifically:-

CAT0183 - Hourly pay rates for Catering and Cleansing staff in Wales 07.06.16
The Wales Catering and Cleaning Advisory Group at its last
meeting was discussing the issue of the Living Wage and how it
was affecting pay rates across services .
The group was interested in discovering the different hourly rates of
pay for specific job roles within the cleaning and catering services
across Wales, as it was apparent there were noticeable difference
between authorities.
APSE is therefore sending out a network query request to identify
the pay rates for the posts below.
Any information received will be shared across those Welsh local
authorities providing details of their pay rates.

for the upkeep and replacement of heavy catering equipment

A member authority is exploring the possibility of introducing ‘social
pricing’ for school meals.
To inform that decision, they would like to know:

equipment is causing handling injuries and is not robust

A member authority is gradually introducing online payment
facilities, so that parents can pay online by card for their child’s
school meal.
They have experienced several problems in the lead up to going live
and are interested to learn from others.

Council's operational catchment area who only work several hours
each week.

arrange staff development days for staff in remote areas?
