APSE Southern Region's Annual General Meeting will be held from 10:30am to 1pm on Thursday 29th July 2021 at Broadway House, Tothill St, London SW1H 9NQ. At this meeting, we will be reviewing the work of the Association in 2020/21, discussing plans for the year ahead and electing representatives to serve on APSE’s National Council. Given the extremely difficult circumstances Covid-19 has presented, this meeting will also provide a critical role in ensuring that any identified future goals and objectives of the Association continue to be directly linked to the views of the membership moving forward.
Among these, we will be electing the Southern region’s Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary. In addition, we will be electing two auditors for the Southern region accounts (one elected member and one officer).
APSE hopes to encourage, through these positions that there will be:-
• Political Balance
• Gender Balance
• Wide representation of member authorities, with each appointment being made to a different member authority. This will ensure that APSE Southern Region has a fair and true representation within all its committees.
We hope you can attend the AGM and see on a first-hand basis the work of APSE in helping deliver continuous improvement across public services, as well as share experiences of the pivotal role local authorities played during the pandemic.
This event is free for APSE Southern members to attend.
The AGM will be followed by a working lunch and will provide the perfect opportunity to catch up with colleagues - we look forward to seeing you in person, in London, on 29th July 2021.
