AceOn is a pioneering energy storage and battery company.
We are passionate about helping the country and the public sector to meet the Net Zero Carbon ambitions and targets. We are battery solar energy storage specialists and can assist, support and advise APSE members on this vital policy and operational area.
We are a Telford-based company who work across the UK. AceOn Energy’s Managing Director is Richard Partington who, between 2011 and 2019, was Managing Director and Head of Paid Service for Telford & Wrekin Council.
AceOn have over 30 years’ experience in the battery industry. We are reliable and positive partners. We would like to introduce APSE members to the high quality, high safety and highly reliable products that we can supply as we know their reputations are very important. We also recognise their challenges and pressures.
We would also like to introduce APSE members to our Virtual Power Plant (VPP) – RENEWERGY - which can be installed in individual homes and uses a state-of-the-art energy storage system plus our smart Energy Management Platform to store renewable energy from solar panels for use when needed and also to trade with the Grid. RENEWERGY aims to provide a 3-way benefit – reducing carbon, lowering their residents’/tenants’ electricity bills AND an income stream for the council to support their investment.
Through AceOn’s extensive experience in the design and manufacture of custom-built battery packs and the distribution of industrial and consumer batteries to the worldwide market, we have built a reputation as being specialists in solar and battery technology, particularly the development of bespoke, custom-built battery packs. Companies and organisations that AceOn currently supply include the MOD, BT and Rolls Royce.
The UK Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) says ‘over the last year AceOn Group has been a key partner in helping deliver our mission to define, maintain and improve quality – certifying products and installers so people can have confidence in the low carbon technology that they invest in.’
We are thrilled to be partnered with APSE Energy – the go-to resource for all things municipal-energy related - and very much look forward to sharing our technological and industry expertise with local councils as they strive for a cleaner and greener UK.
