APSE Scotland is once again holding it's annual Fleet, Waste and Grounds event in the Aviemore MacDonald Highland Resort, with the backdrop of the stunning Cairngorms! 

We have another action packed programme so many wonderful expert speakers from across the sectors, we're sure there is something for everyone. Topics will range from the waste codesign developments underway between Scottish Government and local authorities and digital technologies for high quality and high performing kerbside collections; to implementing drug and alcohol policies and navigating prescribed medication, as well as the risk impact to fleet compliance, regulation and fleet decarbonisation. Furthermore, delegates will have the opportunity to share best practice from across the sectors on materials including flexible plastics, food waste and ETS and pEPR.

In addition to the main sessions we will also have a number of discussion forums covering:

  • Parks and Grounds - to debate the latest challenges  and opportunities for the sector including common tasks
  • Fleet and Vehicle Maintenance - to debate the current issues and challenges including information from Dundee City Council on their coordinated EV charging council wide developments
  • Litter Managers Network - including a discussion on Scotland's National Litter and Flytipping Strategy focusing on the progression of actions with representation from the Strategy Delivery Partners
  • Waste and resources - to debate the latest challenges and opportunities for the sector. This will focus on the work Zero Waste Scotland has undertaken in relation to ETS and plastics. This forum will be led by Kat Laakso, Recycling Partner, Zero Waste Scotland
