The Full Association meeting is an opportunity for members of the Association to discuss and debate the policy and research work of the organisation. APSE has themed the meeting around some of the major public policy challenges and some of the opportunities that arise from this. We hope you will take the opportunity to participate in the discussions on the day.
Firstly, we will look at Local Government Finance, visualising the 2020 financial model; secondly we will hear about Nottingham’s municipal energy journey and Council run energy companies; thirdly, we will review APSE’s recent research on Governance, democracy and the future role of Elected Members; and finally we will look at the future challenges facing council services.
This meeting also provides an opportunity for APSE members to examine APSE’s research programme and proposed 2016/17 budget.
