APSE Refuse, Recycling, Street Scene, Grounds and Parks Seminar 2019
The Nottingham Belfry
24-25 October 2019
“We need to move beyond guilt or blame, and get on with the practical tasks at hand.”
Sir David Attenborough
The APSE annual refuse, recycling, street scene, grounds and parks seminar aims to provide delegates with the latest up to date service ideas and improvements in the areas of waste and recycling, refuse collection, street scene, street cleansing, parks and grounds maintenance.
As well as highlighting examples of best practice in local authority services, this seminar will also look at how new innovations are offering possible solutions.
In order to deliver these changes local authorities also need to consider the skills of their employees, as well as their partners, and just as importantly that the health and safety of their staff is ensured when taking on any new roles and responsibilities. The seminar will provide workshops to highlight the work currently being done in these areas of work.
The seminar will bring together elected members, officers and other key stakeholders from across the wide range of environmental services featured in this event to share thoughts and views on how they are meeting the growing environmental and financial challenges as well as providing appropriate services in order to meet the public demands being placed upon them.
