APSE Energy webinar – Decarbonising blocks of flats

APSE Energy is hosting a webinar focussed on decarbonising council-owned blocks of flats and improving EPC ratings through fabric improvements, heat pump district heating and shared solar PV. The webinar will involve a presentation from APSE Energy Associates, Alan Barber & Nonso Obuekwe.

There will be a chance to ask questions of the speakers, talk about your own decarbonisation challenges, discuss some of the points raised, and learn about the support available. 

Alan & Nonso’s presentation will cover the below points:

  • Fabric considerations
    • Thermal modelling and heat loss
    • Ventilation upgrades
    • Radiator size calculations
  • District heating through centralised energy centre with air source heat pumps
  • Shared rooftop PV
    • How individual dwellings EPC rating can be improved

About the meeting 

This online meeting will be hosted using Microsoft Teams and those signing up to join the meeting will receive an online joining link. The chat function will also be available for participants to use as well as the opportunity to join in this online event through both video and audio facilities.
