Local authorities have not been able to spend as much time as they would have liked on climate change related work due to the pandemic but many are now able to refocus on his agenda. Climate emergency or similar declarations and related actions plans are still in place and will remain a significant priority for councils for many years to come. As technologies develop and more projects are established there is a demand for an understanding of how to move forward locally. Needless to say, this involves a great deal of work right across the authority with input from all services, many officers and councillors.
