APSE Energy Online Event – Sustainable Procurement Webinar

At the Big Energy Summit in March 2023, there was a lot of interest in procurement and how councils are ensuring that their suppliers are taking note of climate change. This webinar will give a great insight into the work that Bristol City Council and Cornwall Council are doing in relation to procurement and reducing scope 3 emissions.

Speakers

Kathryn Archer, Sustainable Procurement Specialist & Daniel Shelton, Environmental Performance Specialist at Bristol City Council covered:

  • How is the council getting its suppliers to take account of climate change and their own emissions.
  • What are suppliers doing to reduce their carbon emissions?
  • How does the Council monitor Scope 3 emissions?
