Online Meeting - Local authority engagement around sustainability and food

applying research and strategic thinking to a local authority context and impacts on operational services

Tuesday 23 June 2020 - 10:00am to 11:15am

The climate change/sustainability/energy agenda is a wide one and addressing the issue of food has local and global implications. As procurers of food, deliverers of catering services and with a role in the production and marketing of local food, councils have a role to play. This webinar will focus on local authority engagement around sustainable food. It will take strategic thinking and research around the importance of sustainable food and apply this to local authority case studies.

Kerrell Walley, Climate Change Manager, Wigan Council
