MOBA Mobile Automation in partnership with Fastview360
There is a proposal for some new legislation, coming soon, that will mandate additional safety measures on waste collection vehicles. Specifically, this is aimed at protecting operatives, and the general public, from being carried into the rear of the waste truck, where they could lose their lives.
MOBA / Fastview360 now have a beta version of a vehicle-based solution that will automatically prevent the lifter mechanism working should a human be detected within the danger zone. This solution is entirely vehicle-based and does not require operatives to wear or carry any identification tags. We are now looking for suitable waste collection partners to trial this technology so please contact us at [email protected] if you are interested in participating.
