We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team as Area Supervisor Cleaning & Catering. This is a varied and fast-paced role, where no two days are the same.

The role will primarily focus on providing efficient and effective service across the varied Citywide’s cleaning and catering contracts and developing your team. Therefore, we need someone who is a skilled communicator, and able to collaborate with staff, children, headteachers, business managers and building managers in a variety of ways.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in the catering industry (school catering would be beneficial), experience in the cleaning industry, supervising staff, training individuals of varied levels of ability, supervise staff, have excellent communication skills, good IT skills, be fair and objective, and have good knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation and Food Safety Legislation.

We are extremely interested in hearing from individual with experience in the day-to-day management of contracts, with a proven history in managing an efficient and effective services across contracts and supervising complex teams.

Citywide Services is part of Salford City Council’s Place Directorate. We have been providing Catering Services in nurseries and schools across Greater Manchester since 1990. We are constantly striving to achieve the highest quality, healthiest, and nutritionally balanced meals to the 12,000 children we serve every school day.
