This group explores topical issues and service development regarding cemeteries and crematoria. Topics covered include operational methods, innovation, environmental demands, funding, legislative and policy changes, training, and of growing importance, income generation. Meetings also include feedback on the most popular network queries raised by members. The group is followed by an APSE performance networks benchmarking meeting dedicated to cemeteries and crematoria services.
The APSE Principal Advisor for this group is Vickie Hacking. The chair of this group is Cllr David Hughes of Flintshire Council.
