The UK Government’s consultation on Reducing the Prevalence of Private Estate Management Arrangements seeks to address the growing challenge of unadopted infrastructure on new housing developments – where roads, drainage systems, green spaces and other shared amenities are maintained by private companies rather than by public authorities.
The session will feature a presentation from Keith Burnett, Senior Policy Advisor at MHCLG, outlining the consultation proposals, followed by a Q&A session. The consultation closes on 12 March 2026.
