A Member Authority are currently reviewing the way that they communicate with their frontline building cleaning workforce that do not report to the central base. The Member Authority are interested in hearing what other councils have in place for their building cleaning staff. In particular the Member Authority is seeking information regards how other councils communicate risk assessments, and SOP’s electronically to their workforce.
BC0194 - Recalculating cleaning requirements – 090821
A Member Authority are currently preparing for the return of staff to council offices from September as restrictions ease. However, staff will continue to work from home some of the time, and - for the foreseeable future. Therefore, offices are likely to remain only around one third occupied at any time.
The Member Authority is keen to hear how other authorities have (or are planning to) recalculate cleaning requirements in the face of reduced building occupancy.
BC0193 - SLAs for Building Cleaning and Catering – 020821
A Member Authority are currently undertaking a review of their SLA’s for building cleaning and catering and is seeking information regarding what other authorities have in place. Specifically they are keen to see examples of SLA’s that other authorities have in place.
