BC0212 - Soft FM and housekeeping specification for a new municipal building - 080925
A member authority is in the process of commissioning the construction of a new municipal building and have been asked to develop the Soft FM and housekeeping specification for the building.
The member authority would be keen to hear from other authorities that have been through this process and are able to share their specifications
BC0211 - Outsourced Facilities Management Company - 010725
A member authority would like to know if any other LA’s use an outsourced Facilities Management company/third party to manage their buildings. If so, does this include the provision of any services directly such as repairs/maintenance/cleaning.
The member authority is keen to understand the following from anyone who undertook an exercise to outsource FM:
If after evaluation you determined it was not the best solution and did not outsource, what were the reasons?
If you ultimately outsourced, what have been the positives and negatives of the process in terms of set up and delivery? We are keen to hear details on areas such as:

BC0210 - Tendering for building cleaning contracts - 200525
A member authority is currently reviewing and are looking to improve how they tender for building cleaning contracts.
The member authority would be grateful if other authorities could share what they have found successful in terms of format, wording etc and if a council has a sample of a good tender submission that they would be willing to share.
