A member authority is currently looking for the experiences that other local authorities have of using mobile food trucks.
In particular, the member authority would like to know, If other authorities use or have used mobile food units:
- Does the authority rent or own their units?
- Do they use enclosed vehicles/trailers/or a mixture?

- Are they able to utilise the units year-round?
- From experience have these units been financially successful?
The member authority would be interested to know experiences with different vehicle suppliers if anyone was willing to discuss, however I am aware you may not wish to put this into a public response.
CAT0315 - Performance Indicator for health and safety accidents - 040425
A member authority is seeking information regarding the Performance Indicators for health and safety accidents.
Specifically, the member authority would like to know the following:-
- Do you have Performance Indicators for Health and Safety accidents relating to Facilities Services (catering and cleaning services specifically)?
- If so, do you measure in number of accidents or is it accident numbers as a proportion of staff numbers, or staff hours etc?
CAT0314 - Catering for children with diabetes - 200225
A member authority is seeking information from other authorities regarding what policies / procedures other councils have in place to cater for Diabetic diets.
Specifically, the member authority would like to know:-
What procedures do you have for diabetic children in respect of choice, information provided, do they weigh the food to gather exact portion weight ? etc
CAT0313 - Local authority Meals on Wheels provision - 310125
A member authority is seeking information regarding Meals on Wheels services. Specifically, the authority would like to know:-
- How many meals do you serve on average every day?
- What are the charges for your meals; for 1-course, 2-courses, 3-courses?
- Does the income cover all your related operating costs?
- If not, what is the average annual financial operating deficit or level of subsidy? (depending on how you treat this)
- Are you planning to increase your charges this year, if so, by how much?

CAT0312 - National Insurance Impact - 270125
A member authority is interested to know if other LA Catering providers are looking to pass on the additional National Insurance impact through the meal price.
