COM0034 - Repurposing residential garage sites – 030125
A member authority is looking at the possibility of repurposing residential garage sites for alternative commercial use to generate income for the General Fund.
They would like to hear from any other authorities who have repurposed garage sites or similar parcels of land for a similar purpose/commercial alternative use.
For example:
- Energy schemes such as battery storage
- EVCP
- Domestic Storage
- Redevelopment to provide commercial property
What were/are these alternative uses? What are the commercial arrangements and what levels of income are you generating?
