Maintenance costs of 3G pitches - SL0168/100314
This authority is looking to identify the costs and maintenance schedules for 3G pitches. Specifically they are interested in the following.

In relation to 3G pitches; What is the maintenance frequency for the following:

  • Brushing the pitch
  • Inspection of the surface for heavy wear
  • Topping up of crumb
  • Cleaning the pitch
  • Top up of aggregate
  • Inspection of lines and seams
  • Aeration/de-compaction of pitch
  • Chemical weed control around edges

What is the maintenance requirement and frequency of maintenance for the area surrounding the pitch i.e. brushing/cleaning bitmac areas, litter lifting?

What is the annual estimated time and cost to carry out the various maintenance requirements?

What equipment and machinery is used to maintain the pitch and surrounding area?


Corporate Leisure Membership - SL0167/060214
A member authority is looking at offering a corporate leisure membership package to local employers.

They would like to know the following:

  • What are the qualifying criteria (if any) for a corporate membership?
  • What is the corporate rate compared to the normal membership rate?
  • What stipulations are placed on the contract (minimum length etc)
  • Does the corporate membership differ in regard to content against a normal membership?
