APSE Central region represents local authorities across the West and East Midlands, with a mix of Counties, Districts and Unitary Authorities. Members include the cities of Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent and Wolverhampton and the Counties of, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire.

Promoting excellence in public services, APSE is the foremost specialist in local authority frontline services, hosting a network for frontline service providers in areas such as waste and refuse collection, parks and environmental services, cemeteries and crematorium, environmental health, leisure, school meals, cleaning, housing and building maintenance.
