Rescroft Ltd are a prominent UK designer and manufacturer of passenger seats for the local authority sector and specialise in seating requirements for wheelchair accessible vehicles. The company also supplies seating for public service vehicles, ambulances and a variety of other vehicles.
Established in 1976, Rescroft employ around 100 people across 2 sites in Redditch. On site, their comprehensive manufacturing facilities include welding stations, heavy duty presses, a foam moulding machine and trim cutting and sewing facilities. They also have a VCA and TuV accredited seat belt anchorage test rig, capable of testing seats and vehicles to the latest European standards.
Products on display at APSE 2021 will include the new CT eco and CT Hi Lite seats which are both suitable for M2 vehicles and offer lightweight, economically friendly seating for operators. Other seats in their range include the ever popular CT Lite and CT Space, both fully compliant for M2/M3 category vehicles, the Nevis high back seat and Winga tip and fold seat, both suitable for M1 and M2 conversions for minibuses and smaller WAV type vehicles.
