Size- and cost-appropriate buses for any route, from Mellor
Rochdale-based bus manufacturer Mellor will use its presence at APSE Scotland Fleet, Waste & Grounds 2024 to highlight how its wide range of size- and cost-appropriate buses for any urban, inter-urban and rural route.
The Mellor team will be on hand to take APSE visitors through its impressively wide range of all-electric and Euro-6 diesel powered buses, engineered and built in the UK. All Mellor buses are designed to meet the very specific needs of Local Authorities; size-and cost-appropriate vehicles built to help operators meet the transportation needs of the communities they serve.
From the multi-model, all-electric Sigma range to the highly configurable, Euro-6 Strata, Orion, and Maxima ranges, Mellor’s mandate remains clear; to offer the right bus for the right route, and to make bus travel possible for all who need it.
Mellor’s Sales Director, Richard Matthews, says, “Local authority transport managers are all too aware of the need to ensure passengers with very differing accessibility requirements, living in a range of rural or urban environments, have access to the transport they need. This must be balanced with the ever-tightening budgets under which Local Authorities operate.
“Mellor is all about providing high-quality, British-engineered buses which run efficiently to meet these exacting needs. Our size- and cost-appropriate buses, with either full electric or Euro-6 powertrains, can be run on any route profile to ensure communities are connected as efficiently as possible.”
