The Housing, Construction and Building Maintenance Advisory group provides an opportunity for in-depth discussion around the range of challenges within the delivery of property maintenance and housing services, from tenancy management to new homes delivery focused on strategies to meet housing need and increase housing supply. A typical agenda includes case studies of local authority housing development projects, updates from sector partners on recent research findings and emerging innovation in property maintenance and construction. All meetings are free to attend and there is no upper limit on how many staff and elected members may attend from each APSE member authority. Established in ?, APSE has been supporting member authorities to benchmark outcomes in Building maintenance for ? years. Developed organically, under the direction of service managers, the benchmarking group has grown to a UK wide network and conduit of performance information exploring outcomes in cost, productivity and customer satisfaction. Members can utilise the service to benchmark either Corporate Property Maintenance, Housing Property Maintenance or both and participate in either a quarterly or annual benchmarking process.
