APSE Announces Local Government Service Awards Finalists 2014

APSE, the Association for Public Service Excellence, has announced finalists in the prestigious APSE Service Awards 2014. The awards recognise the very best in local government frontline services, with councils throughout the UK recognised for their achievements in delivering excellence in frontline service.

Announcing the finalists APSE Chief Executive Paul O'Brien said 'Tough times demand innovative and entrepreneurial responses to protect public service delivery and ensure that councils can share best practice amongst each other. These service awards reward those councils, and their frontline service teams, who have gone above and beyond good service to deliver excellence in local public services.’

The winners will be announced on the Thursday 11 September at Nottingham Ice Arena by international Ice Dance Champion and coach and star of Dancing on Ice Maria Filippov, following APSE’s annual seminar ‘The Ensuring Council: Transforming the Frontline.’
