APSE Scotland advisory groups join forces to look at cross cutting issues

APSE Scotland advisory groups join forces to look at cross cutting issues

APSE Scotland has announced that its Parks, Grounds and Street Services advisory group will be merged with the Sports and Leisure group following its annual general meeting held at Hamilton Park Racecourse.

Following constitutional changes unanimously agreed at the AGM the two separate advisory group areas will now join forces and become one larger group, allowing cross-cutting issues to be discussed together by those involved in each of these frontline services. This means that where there are overlaps between services – such as the role of parks in local leisure  provision – the advisory group members will benefit from a wider networking and learning opportunity.

The forthcoming APSE Scotland advisory group meetings have just been released and the confirmed dates for the new group can be access by clicking here. The APSE Scotland advisory groups are only accessible to APSE member councils within Scotland.
