With the Government's Housing and Planning Bill 2015-16 now going through the second reading stage at the House of Lords, APSE and the Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) teamed together to conduct a survey of councils across the country - and the results are very interesting.

Promoting excellence in public services, APSE is the foremost specialist in local authority frontline services, hosting a network for frontline service providers in areas such as waste and refuse collection, parks and environmental services, cemeteries and crematorium, environmental health, leisure, school meals, cleaning, housing and building maintenance.
