APSE National Chair Cllr Van Coulter

APSE National Chair Cllr Van Coulter

It is with great sadness that I regrettably inform you that our APSE National Chair, Cllr Van Coulter, sadly passed away on Monday 13 March.

Cllr Coulter, as many of you may know, was an Oxford City Councillor and a great champion of APSE, supporting at every level our endeavours for excellence in public services. Van was also a staunch advocate for social justice and fairness and, as a political economist, a towering intellect in his field of work in the public sector. Van will be sadly missed by all the APSE family of which he was a huge part. As a kind man and friend to us all, his loss is all the more profound.

On  behalf of APSE’s National Council and the secretariat team, we have passed on our most sincere condolences to Van’s family and colleagues and they will be in our thoughts. In the near future of course we will wish to remember Van in our own very special APSE way.

Regards,

Paul O’Brien

Chief Executive, APSE
