Professional Drone Training was formed by two guys totally familiar with the aviation sector, both being helicopter pilots. Over the past 3 years they trained hundreds of people from various market segments and with varying levels of awareness and skill.
Liam McGrath, Technical Director said “ It’s very rewarding taking people who have never seen a drone and in some cases been frightened of them, to fully qualified CAA Remote Pilots in around 3 days thanks to our unique training program!”
Having recently trained 4 people from Fife Council Housing, it is clear to see the savings in terms of time and money that can be made by doing inspections with drones. More and more markets are using drones to speed up and reduce costs in their area.
Jonathan Shelbourne, Operations Director said, “We have yet to find a client who isn’t surprised at how cost effective training can be with prices starting at only £499 per person to become a CAA Approved Remote pilot!”

APSE is therefore delighted to welcome Professional Drone Training into the APSE family. Liam and Jonathan will bring much needed insight and technical knowledge to the local government sector; ensuring it remains well-equipped to manage this revolutionary technology.”
