Universal Infant Free School Meals Project
APSE at the LACA Conference and the All Party Parliamentary Group on School Food
At both the LACA Conference 2018 and School Food APPG, APSE announced it would be developing a State of the Nation report on the impact of Universal Free School Meals. To ensure that your voice is represented, we have compiled a survey. All questions relate to 2017-18 financial year. We would appreciate it if you could take 5-10 minutes to answer the survey.
Steering the debate at the LGA Conference 2018
Official launch of our latest research “The New Municipalism”
In addition to hosting an exhibition stand at the LGA Conference 2018 in Birmingham, APSE hosted a fringe event in which we launched our latest research report “The New Municipalism: Taking back entrepreneurship”. The launch took place on a lunch time canal boat trip and the event was awash with ideas on reclaiming civic entrepreneurship. You can download the report here.
Garden City Principles given the green light
The Principles have been reinstated in the National Planning Policy Framework
APSE is delighted to confirm that the government has reinstated reference to the Garden City Principles in national policy. Alongside APSE and the TCPA, over 70 organisations – including professional bodies, trade associations, charities, developers and designers – called on the government to reinstate the Principles during the consultation stage.
