APSE and ITN Productions

APSE have partnered with ITN Productions to produce a news and current affairs style programme.

The news style documentary, anchored by Natasha Kaplinksy, will combine key interviews and reports with sponsored editorial profiles from leading organisations in the sector.

Promoting Excellence explored the way local authorities manage demands and expectations, in a time when extensive budget cuts are being made. This insight gives a greater understanding of the processes, problems and solutions within a large number of frontline services.

Launching in 2017, Redefining neighbourhoods: Beyond austerity which will look at how local authority frontline strategies need to evolve as funding diminishes and social care needs increase. The programme will also bring to life investment strategies that lead to a more self-sufficient and sustainable future.

Drawing upon ITN’s 60 year heritage and expertise in storytelling, these exciting news-style pieces will truly reflect the challenges, innovations and future of our public services.
