CONTENUR to open its fourth manufacturing plant in Liverpool

- The new facility will open at the end of this year.
APSE Approved Partner CONTENUR has started work on a new 56,500 m2 factory in Knowsley, a metropolitan district of Merseyside, to bring local and faster manufacturing of its plastic wheeled bin products to the UK. It is estimated to be operational by the fourth quarter of 2020.
Through this new project, which includes 5,300 m2 of offices and 47,000 m2 of factory space, the CONTENUR group expects to reach a production volume of 600,000 containers per year.
This new opening - included in the company’s strategic development plan, aims to enhance the impact of the group’s core values: a commitment to local production and staff, proximity to key customers and markets, quality – a fundamental standard of company processes, and environmental sustainability through the implementation of Circle ®

CONTENUR currently manufactures its products and provides additional waste services from its manufacturing plants in Spain, Poland and Brazil. Continuing with its international expansion strategy, this new opening will allow the company to offer a competitive, local service that will provide customers with more agile, flexible and sustainable solutions with shorter delivery times.
