Lone working, remote working and home working each bring opportunities and challenges. Through consultation with local councils APSE has developed this course to support managers with responsibility for staff who are working remotely, at home or virtually. During this unprecedented time of extended social distancing and changing local rules, staff need to feel a sense of belonging more than ever before and managers need to ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of their staff, as well as manage issues around productivity and service delivery standards.
