The aim of this 2-day online course is to provide delegates with a range of skills to be able to deliver training to staff in their organisation. The training will help delegates to achieve the objectives through transfer of knowledge, experience, advice and support. The course will also enable them to be confident within their role, and for continuous development in the authority and future career paths.
Learning Outcomes:
During this training you will:
- develop the skills required to be a trainer
- recognise the importance of the training cycle
- gain knowledge of how adults learn
- realise the impact of communication, through confident attitude, voice projection, body language and voice control
- learn how to understand the audience, group interaction and set ground rules
- increase your awareness of appropriate training aids and support materials
- identify how to make delivery sessions a success
This course will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams. To access it, you will need a WiFi connection or mobile data hotspot. Downloading Microsoft Teams to your laptop, desktop or smart device will give a better performance and greater functionality throughout the day. This highly interactive training includes a mixture of presentations, video conferencing, group work, games, quizzes and video.
