APSE Energy Webinar – A whole‑process approach to domestic improvement

APSE Energy Webinar – A whole‑process approach to domestic improvement

Thursday 23 July 2026, 10:30am - 11:30am

MS Teams

Domestic energy efficiency is a fundamental element of our challenge to address the costs of heating our homes and transitioning to clean energy. Homes lose heat through walls, roofs and outdated heating systems, driving up bills. The technology exists to address these issues. By installing fully funded insulation, modern heating, and energy efficiency solutions, home retain heat, and residents remain warm and comfortable. These upgrades can significantly lower monthly energy costs, improve a home’s energy rating, and reduce environmental impacts.

Whether we call it ‘home improvement’ or ‘retrofit’, it is vital that we make the most of the schemes and funding that are available to local authorities to help our communities see investments in their homes.

But there is a process to go through from identifying who can qualify, installing the equipment and signing it off as fit for purpose – as well as dealing with people.

APSE Energy along with YES Energy Solutions is holding webinars to look at two important features - resident engagement and a whole‑process approach.

In this webinar, we will cover the below:

A whole‑process approach to domestic improvement

  • From initial marketing and first contact through to advice, design, installation and sign‑off
  • How engagement, advice and technical delivery interrelate?
  • Where risk, refusals and complaints usually arise in the process
  • Why advice‑led engagement reduces delivery risk and improves outcomes overall?

This session will look at schemes from beginning to end, programme design and delivery, the practical and the personal and will highlight issues of scale, pace and risk.

Speaker – Jonathan Davis, Business Development Manager, YES Energy Solutions
