In this webinar we heard from the Net Zero What Works group at University College London and APSE Energy Associate, Alan Barber on measuring scope 3 emissions.
The Net Zero What Works group recently conducted research into scope 3 emissions reporting at local authorities and the tools and toolkits available to support local authorities to reach net zero. The research found that there is currently a lack of consistency in the measuring and reporting of scope 3 among local authorities as a result of the disparate tools and toolkits available.
This webinar, titled 'Making sense of measuring scope 3 emissions using existing tools and toolkits' aimed to support local authorities to understand the support that is available to make a more informed choice on what will work best in their authority, with the presentation from the Net Zero What Works Group covering the below points:
Speaker - Penny Clark, Research Fellow, University College London & Net Zero What Works Group
APSE Energy Associate, Alan Barber outlined the support that APSE Energy can provide in measuring scope 3 emissions. APSE Energy is able to put scope 3 emissions reports together for local authorities using data from a range of different sources, in addition to our consultancy work around scope 1 and 2 emissions.
