Resomation

Resomation is the name given to water cremation and is the new alternative to flame cremation and burial.

Giving people a new choice at the end of life, water cremation is a gentler, environmentally friendly option that provides a natural process using water instead of flame.

Water Cremation uses a water-based solution to speed up the natural process the body goes through after a burial. Similar to flame cremation, the process produces ash but does so without producing into the atmosphere possible mercury or other toxic emissions.

People choosing water cremation can still have a traditional funeral ceremony in the same way they would with flame cremation – the only difference being from the point at which the coffin is committed from view. Families will still be presented with the ashes of their loved ones after the cremation.
