Road repair, maintenance and preservation specialist Velocity has over 25 years’ experience of bringing innovation to the UK highways sector.

Velocity pioneered spray-injection patching, an innovative technique for corrective and preventative highway maintenance. 

Velocity Patching permanently repairs potholes at a fraction of the cost of traditional techniques, with each machine capable of repairing up to 200 defects per day. Velocity Patching has become an established technique used by local authorities and maintenance contractors throughout the country; from the busy streets of London to remote rural lanes that keep communities connected.

Velocity Preservation is the latest innovation offered by the company. As an approved installer of ASI’s Rhinophalt, Velocity extend the life of roads that are in good condition, ‘locking in’ the current state of the road and preventing deterioration.

Whether bringing roads that are in ‘red’ or ‘amber’ condition back up to standard, or protecting assets that are in ‘green’ condition, Velocity have a treatment that will make budgets go further, minimise disruption for road users and protect the environment.

Velocity are an active contributor to industry standards, participating in the development of NHSS 13 and the new British Standard for Spray-Injection Patching for highways and other paved areas, BS10947:2019. 

All operators are permanent employees, keeping experience and expertise within the company for the benefit of customers. Dedicated to quality and safety, all of Velocity’s operators follow an intensive training programme leading to an NVQ in Velocity Patching.

As well as maintaining roads for residents, we support local communities by generating employment, supporting the local economy and providing our services voluntarily to support local initiatives. We are proud signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant. One-in-six of our employees served in the Armed Forces, and are a great asset to our business.
