Zero Waste Scotland
Zero Waste Scotland exist to create a society where resources are valued and nothing is wasted. Our goal is to help Scotland realise the economic, environmental and social benefits of making best use of the world’s limited natural resources. We are funded by the Scottish Government and work with a range of partners, including Local Authorities, to promote resource efficiency, recycling and the transition towards a circular economy. We currently manage the £70M Recycling Improvement Fund on behalf of the Scottish Government.
Promoting excellence in public services
APSE (Association for Public Service Excellence) is a not for profit unincorporated association working with over 300 councils throughout the UK. Promoting excellence in public services, APSE is the foremost specialist in local authority frontline services, hosting a network for frontline service providers in areas such as waste and refuse collection, parks and environmental services, cemeteries and crematorium, environmental health, leisure, school meals, cleaning, housing and building maintenance.
