So, who are we and what are we aiming to do?
Our Role - Safer Space is aiming to be the sole national accreditation body in the UK for the delivery of sanitisation processes, creating healthier environments. Safer Space assesses and accredits against agreed standards, processes, and technologies, educates operatives for certification, and provides independent inspection and verification services. All supported by an advisory body of industry and marketplace experts.
Our Vision - To reduce the numbers of infection outbreaks and their transmission through the sanitisation of harmful bacteria and viruses, while reducing the overuse of chlorinated sanitising agents and antibiotics. Ensuring we all stay a little healthier.
Our Mission - To educate and facilitate the creation of healthier environments using newer sanitising technologies and their disciplined application. To be the global leader in identifying, developing, and promoting novel sanitisation technologies and their application.
Our backgrounds are based in the cleaning industry, where we recognised that although places may look clean, germs can still flourish.

Evans Vanodine

Evans Vanodine has been developing and manufacturing consistent, efficient and cost-effective cleaning and hygiene products for over 100 years. Established in 1919 by William Charles Evans, under the title of W.C. Evans, in Salford, Manchester, the company initially began producing spraying essences for cinemas. It then branched out into manufacturing disinfectants, liquid soaps and various types of powders.
Over the years, the company, which is still owned and run by the Evans family, has grown from one small laboratory and an office to become a world leader in the industrial, food process, Hospitality, FM and animal health sectors. The company currently exports to over 80 countries worldwide, with 4 overseas facilities. There have been many important, and impressive, milestones over the past 100 years. We secured our first export order in the 1930s, sending disinfectants to the US. The 1940s saw us turn our expertise to preventing air crashes, by developing a jet turbine take-off fluid for the US Air Force. In the 1960s (and again in 2001), we played a crucial role in controlling Foot and Mouth epidemics with our farm disinfectant FAM 30, still considered today to be the finest disinfectant of its type in the world. And in 1969, Evans reached for the stars, when our disinfectants were used to protect the public when moon dust from the moon landing went on display in Manchester.
Today, our products cover an extensive range of applications. We help kill pathogenic diseases in hospitals and keep farms where our food comes from and the restaurants that serve it, safe and hygienic. We also help to make sure schools are germ-free and that kids know the importance of hand-washing, thanks to the Evans bug-busting team Edward and Emily and their classroom support tools.

Go Plant Fleet Services have a number of Minibuses, many with wheelchair lifts including Mercedes Sprinter and Citroen Relay, which may suit educational transport or for use by any charities or community groups supported by councils. We fully appreciate the pressure being placed upon the UK's public sector by the current pandemic and would like to reassure everybody that Estate Research remains open and fully operational to support Local Authorities and Public Sector Bodies with our services.
Our staff are working from home with complete access to our systems allowing them to continue to locate next-of-kin and support public health funerals to go ahead with the family's support.
Additionally, we have been able to adapt and continue to offer our property services including Search and Security via a nationwide property management company.

Ocean Outdoor SME Support Fund: An advertising fund for local businesses affected by Coronavirus
A fund with a media value of £10 million has been created, giving businesses and brands access to advertising space across Ocean screens in 12 UK cities. The aim is to help support and stimulate businesses, jobs and the local economies in the cities where Ocean operates. Those cities include Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, London, Bristol and Southampton. The support fund will be administered in partnership with the Local Authorities that Ocean works with.

Local Authority Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response: Planning local deliveries and collections

- Creating new rounds for special deliveries or collections for vulnerable people. Webaspx has the capability to plan local deliveries or collections, to and from households in your area very quickly using your LLPG to select the addresses you require and build special routes for your teams. The schedules can be re-planned each day if addresses are added or removed. Webaspx would require the following information:-
- Addresses to be scheduled from LLPG
- Number of vehicles\resources available
- Location of the distribution point
- Limitations on route times (length of route)
- Approximate time allocated per delivery or collection
- Any vehicle limitations (size etc.)
- Re-scheduling waste collection rounds to adapt to changes in resources and yields.

Destroy airborne viruses with the Purazone UVC Radiation unit
The property of UVC light is that it will destroy any airborne virus that is drawn into the unit by penetrating the organism and affecting or breaking the DNA
Signature were due to attend the crematoria meeting and would have shown our Purazone UVC Radiation unit. A portable unit that was designed with a government grant and alongside Coventry University and NHS Hospital.

We currently have only 4 units left in the UK but are building a further 120 which should be available in April/ May.
