Announcing the winners of the APSE Service Awards 2022

Announcing the winners of the APSE Service Awards 2022

Celebrating excellence in local public services!

Speaking about the Awards, Paul O'Brien, APSE Chief Executive, said, "This year we received an overwhelming number of submissions for the Awards, with each one demonstrating a clear commitment to the goals of continuous improvement and the delivery of excellence in public services. From parks to school meals, from collecting bins to caring for older people, it is a real honour to recognise the fantastic work local councils do at the frontline. Today is their day."

The APSE Awards are specific to frontline services provided by UK local authorities. The awards are agreed by a panel of expert judges. This year, the Awards included 22 categories, covering the vast majority of local services.

The winners were announced at the APSE Annual Charity Awards Dinner, in aid of Parkinson’s UK, on Thursday 15 September 2022 at the Swansea Arena. The ceremony took place at the rise of the APSE Annual Seminar 2022, and was hosted by award-winning broadcaster and journalist Sian Lloyd.
