Recognising excellence in Scotland's local authority fleet, waste and grounds teams

Recognising excellence in Scotland's local authority fleet, waste and grounds teams

APSE is delighted to announce the Bronze, Silver and Gold Award winners of the APSE Striving for Excellence Awards 2022.

These Awards provide an excellent opportunity for Scottish local authorities to demonstrate how they are going above and beyond when delivering fleet, waste and grounds services for their local communities.

Speaking of the Awards, APSE Chief Executive Paul O'Brien said, "These Awards recognise the incredible work and success of local authority services in Scotland; providing a much-deserved opportunity for those within the related service areas to put forward their most deserving initiative. To all of our Award winners, I would like to say a huge thank you for not simply maintaining but exceeding the high standards you have set for yourselves when striving to secure safe and beautiful neighbourhoods for your local communities."

The Gold Award winners were announced at the APSE Scotland Fleet, Waste and Grounds Seminar in Aviemore on Thursday 19 May 2022.

All Silver Award winners competed for the Gold Award within their service area. Each Silver Award winning council were asked to provide a short presentation on their submission to the judging panel during the event to compete for the Gold Award.

A massive congratulations to all of this year's winners!
