APSE is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2026 Facilities Management, Catering and Cleaning Innovation Awards, along with the APPG Excellence in School Food Awards. These awards celebrate outstanding local councils and organisations who have used innovative ideas and solutions to tackle the current challenges facing the sector. The awards provide participating authorities with an opportunity to showcase their expertise, alongside the results that they have achieved.

APSE Chief Executive Mo Baines said: “We are thrilled to recognise the hard work done by councils to meet the challenges of the sector head-on. The winners reflect the wide breadth of innovative projects being carried out and demonstrate an outstanding commitment to delivering public services."

The winners were announced at an awards ceremony at the end of the APSE Facilities Management Seminar 2026, at the Doubletree by Hilton, Stratford upon Avon 

Promoting excellence in public services

APSE (Association for Public Service Excellence) is a not for profit unincorporated association working with over 300 councils throughout the UK. Promoting excellence in public services, APSE is the foremost specialist in local authority frontline services, hosting a network for frontline service providers in areas such as waste and refuse collection, parks and environmental services, cemeteries and crematorium, environmental health, leisure, school meals, cleaning, housing and building maintenance.
