APSE performance networks is the largest voluntary public sector benchmarking service across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Used by over 200 local authorities it leads the way in local government benchmarking. The size of our membership gives added benefits to members by being able to offer a wide variety of comparator groups.
The performance networks capabilities are constantly evolving to the changing needs of our members. We work closely with working groups from each service to ensure that the data collected is tailored to meet the latest requirements for each specialism.

APSE (Association for Public Service Excellence) is a not for profit unincorporated association working with over 300 councils throughout the UK. Promoting excellence in public services, APSE is the foremost specialist in local authority frontline services, hosting a network for frontline service providers in areas such as waste and refuse collection, parks and environmental services, cemeteries and crematorium, environmental health, leisure, school meals, cleaning, housing and building maintenance.
