APSE Central Region Meeting and AGM 2022

About the seminar

The events of the past couple of years have highlighted the importance of local authority frontline services and the key role that councils play in their communities. As we approach the winter of 2022, the impact of the cost-of-living crisis is set to deepen, the legacy from COVID-19, the Climate Emergency and Brexit are still impacting communities, alongside the challenges that existed prior to March 2020.

This free face to face event brings together expert speakers who will be providing an overview of how local authorities have taken the lessons from the pandemic  and are adapting these approaches to build resilience in their services and communities to ensure that they are robust and sustainable for the future. The event also presents the opportunity for delegates to ask questions, make comments and share information with officers and elected members from local authorities in the APSE Central Region

The APSE Central Region AGM will be your opportunity to vote for APSE’s Central region chair and secretary and executive committee alongside delegates to APSE’s national council. The APSE Central Region audited accounts statement will also be presented to the meeting and a round-up of the year’s regional activities. Please ensure your authority is represented at this meeting which is your chance to share in the governance of your APSE region.
