Friday 27th April
Wakefield Town Hall, Wakefield WF1 2HQ
This seminar is an ideal opportunity for officers, elected members, local authority partners and trade unions interested in the delivery of long term solutions for improving the health and wellbeing of residents and employees alike.
This forum hopes to show how local authorities working in partnership with a variety of stakeholders are setting clear aims and objectives through strategies and actions to improve the lifestyles and health of their local populations, particularly those who have specific needs and support requirements.
With ageing populations and more complex lifestyles local authorities and their partners need to be able to address those issues which are beginning to put added stresses and strains to already overstretched budgets and resources. The forum hopes to show how some local authorities are facing these challenges head on and providing solutions to some of these problems.
