Cardiff City Council highlighted how they have introduced a locally-based direct cremation service which involves the support of local Funeral Directors, offers improved experiences for the bereaved and reduces carbon emissions.
Middlesbrough Council through cross-skilling their entire bereavement workforce have created greater service resilience to ensure their service is fit for current needs and future-proofed and that staff are can do everything related to bereavement from start to finish.
Sheffield City Council have created a multi-faceted engagement programme across the City’s diverse audience to promote the cultural, historical and natural assets found in a grade 2* listed garden cemetery in the heart of The City.
